This is why today was a good day.
Feb. 4th, 2009 05:48 pmFirst off, this morning I got to sleep in because I didn't have to go to school. The reason being was today I got my braces off! I have a permanent retainer right now (which keeps poking me, because they fucked up and used too much glue) and then next week I get a removable one for the top row. In a word: BITCHIN'.
Because of this, I didn't get to school until 4th, and when I arrived it was lunch time! I also learned Sensei might be changing to 3rd Lunch, which has Angela and Holly and Amanda and Jacob and Leah! Yaaaay!
Then, in 6th period, the walk for the day was easy! And because Ms. Smith's class is too big, Amanda is switching into Ms. Bell's class with me! So now we have Food and Fitness class together! Very awesome!
After that was Anime Club. We switched to Mr. Gaul as an advisor, and he is epic awesome. He's already excited to learn all about anime and the like!
Today, we talked about Sakura-con, and I got the rest of my group assembled! And so, in my room it'll be me, my Mom, Leah, and Elise. OHYEAH. And from the sounds of it, everyone is staying at the Red Lion! WHOO. And on that note, I reserved our hotel yesterday, so everything is set to go! >w< Now my only Sakura-con worry is cosplay. I need to make a decision: whether to eep my hair long and brown, and use a wig for Yuki... or cut it and dye it blonde and get a Minagi wig. While a Yuki wig would be cheaper, I think a Minagi wig would be easier to manage and keep in place with short hair, and it I bought it straight then the hair wouldn't curl, like my own hair does... xD
I still need to fix up Minagi's outfit, since it was kinda cheaply made... and I want some petticoats so it flares a bit more. >w> Also, I need practically all of Yuki's outfit, along with some nice mens-type shoes that'll mae me taller. Short Yuki = NO. xD A part of me wants a third cosplay, of my own character... that'd be so coooool. xD
Anyway, today will be even more awesome if I get my computer back. @w@ I CAN ONLY PRAAAAY~!
