COSPLAY PARADE
It was awesome. There was a lot of waiting around, but when we actually marched through the city... I was so happy, it made up for everything else! And Seattle at night makes me nervous. But Kent at night is downright scary! We were approached by a crazy person! Ack! However, because I get lazy, I don't feel like recalling anything else... so, moving on!

It seems a lot are missing. I know one guy took my photo a whole bunch, but they only have marches from one side of the parade... which sucks, because the same person is the focal point of like, 20 pictures. xD
EXCHANGE STUDENT
Rie is so super duper adorable omigod! I just wanna give her a big hug and never let her go! But that would be really awkward. So I won't. Yet. Mwahahahah!
The first day she came home... I was so nervous I couldn't really talk. She just kind of sat there... bored. I think I was boring her. Ugh. xD; However, getting ready in the mornings is working out great! I wake up and make her lunch while she gets dressed (she takes a shower at night) and then while she eats breakfast, I get dressed and ready for the day. Then Shell drives her and Nao (Holly's student) to the academic center. While she's gone, I clean the house... and then get hella nervous when she comes home, where I become boring again. xD;
Thankfully, Holly invited Rachel over and then they called me up and invited all of us to go walking in Covington! We went to Petco and looked at animals, had ice cream at Baskin Robbins (I paid for Rie... I'm such a sucker for cuties... xD), and then went to the Dollar Tree. Omigod. I never knew how much fun a Dollar Store could be. They had funny hats! Which we wore. Around the store. They were party hats. It was epic. xD Then it got late, and we went home. We ate dinner and then watched Scrubs for awhile, which thankfully has enough WTF visual moments to be entertaining, even if you can't hear/understand it (Best moment: JD's head explodes. And if you're head explodes, you'll never make it as a doctor!). After that, Rie took a bath, and when she came out, she brought out her ipod. It was touch screen. <3 I want one! xD It turns out she likes Avril Lavinge and Perfume... which I like as well. : D So we listened to music together until she got tired and went to bed. Which is where she is now as I type.
ALTHOUGH OMIGOD I STILL FEEL HELLA NERVOUS AROUND HER. And I think she can tell. I'm super okay if I have someone else to joke with who can understand me well enough. Then I can be silly and entertaining! But the second Holly, Rachel, and Nao left to go home, and me and Rie were alone, I got all quiet. Ugh. I fail. xD
Anyway, tomorrow is the welcome party! So... I shouldn't have to worry as much about freaking out and getting all nervous. Since we'll eb at a party with loads of people. That's when my best personality comes out... I mean, even alone with friends at my house, I get all nervous and boring, even if no one realizes it! I get anxious and start to babble. I gotta work on that. Really, I'm much better if I'm in a not-so-familiar environment. I think that's kinda weird. xD
Oh yeah. And Rie stole my bed. She got confused and slept in the wrong one... eheheh... but she's so cute, I didn't wanna embarass her by telling her!! I don't really mind, I like both mattresses (and the pull-out trundle, where I am now sleeping, is closer to the door, so I can go to bed later than her without waking her up) but the problem is... I never washed the blankets. Or changed the sheets. I just did that for her bed. Omigod, I felt mortified and could NOT sleep for like two hours. xD And it didn't help that the cats were being stupid and kept sleeping on my face... another reason why it's better for her to have my bed. Spirit sleeps on the trundle, where Shell usually sleeps. Spirit bites in the morning. Dunno why. She just does. xD;;;
I plan on undating a whole bunch while Rie is here! I wanna call her Ri-chan... it sounds cute, but she specifically said to call her Rie. xD Maybe after another week... That and I can't get the courage to speak Japanese to her! My Japanese needs practice. But when I do, she'll respond in Japanese... which I won't understand. xD Thankfully, as long as I speak slowly, she seems to understand very well~
